We are a small chicken business based at the mountain end of Egmont Road. At the moment we have fifteen different breeding groups to provide you with fertile eggs, day old chicks, 10 week old pullets, older pullets, hens and even roosters if you so desire. The groups we have are Houdans (H), Salmon Faverolles(SF), Silver Dorkings (SD), Plymouth Barred Rocks(PBR), Light Sussex (LS), Black Orpingtons (BO), Cuckoo Leghorns (CL), Brown Shavers(BS), Lavender Araucanas(LA), Black Minorca Bantams(BMB), Silver Laced Wyandottes (SLW), Splash Orpingtons(SO), Rhode Island Reds (RIR), Mottled Pekins (MP) and Black Araucanas (BA).
Our prices are as follows:
Fertile Eggs $3.00 each or $30.00 a dozen (Available at the moment H, PBR, BO, CL, BS, LA, BMB, SO, MP & BA )
All are testing with high fertility and our hatch rates are excellent
Day Old Chicks $10.00 each (We have a large number of chicks ranging in age from day old to 5 weeks old – the price going up
$1 per week of life).
10 week old Pullets $25.00 (None available at present – we are taking orders though).
Older Pullets $POA (None available at present – we are taking orders though)
Mixed Breed $15.00 (At times we have a naughty hen who jumps a pen to spend quality time with another roo and we get
the odd cross breed – these birds are always good layers and make a colourful addition to any back yard
flock. Please ask as we may have what is just right for you.)
Roosters $POA (Every year we always keep a few roosters so please ask if there is a purebred you’re after).
Of course with so many chickens we are also able to supply farm-fresh free range eggs.
